JUDITH ARGOMANIZ
Director and Choreographer
She began her studies in classical dance with the teacher Olga Del Barrio in her native city, Donostia. After obtaining a scholarship from the Guipúzcoa Provincial Council she joined the Institut Del Teatre in Barcelona to further her dance studies and graduated in the specialty of Contemporary Dance. She then moved to Madrid to broaden her studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila where she graduated with the highest mark and won the award for excellence.
She has danced with the Ballet Biarritz Junior Company and the Amaury Dance Company and performed works by Nacho Duato, Thierry Malandain, La Macana and Shlomi Bitton among others.
In 2013 she created LASALA, whose philosophy consists of investigating in order to generate a contemporary physical, aesthetic language.

In 2015, she created “GIZON HAIEK”, commissioned by Dantzaz Konpainia, for a joint program along with works by Itzik Galili, Jone San Martín, Lukas Timulak and Christine Hassid, which premiered in the Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao.
In 2016 Judith Argomaniz was invited to the Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila as a specialist teacher, restaging one of her creations.
The French company Cie BIVOUAC invited her as choreographer and ‘outside eye’ for the spectacle “A Corps Perdus- Opus 2” in 2017.
She was choreographer for the film DANTZA by the well-known director Telmo Esnal.
In 2017 she received the revelation award from the Association of Dance Professionals of Guipuzkoa, “for her potential with a promising future in the world of choreography and interpretation”.
JAIOTZ OSA
Choreography assistant and dancer
Born in Zumaia (Guipúzcoa).
In 2005 he moved to Barcelona to start his training as a dancer at the dance school Company & Company.
In 2011 he got the Diploma in Primary Teaching at the University of the Basque Country in Donostia, and at the same year he joined the High School of Dance directed by Virginia Valero, where he performed works of La Macana y Toni Fabre, among others.
In 2012 he joined the Company Amaury Dance Company. In 2013 he worked with the Company Junk Esemble and in 2014 with Cielo Raso. He currently works as an interpeter in the Company LASALA.

ÁLVARO ESTRADA
Technical Director and Lighting Designer
He qualified in Audiovisual Studies and Technical Production in Madrid.
He began his professional freelance career in 1997, as Lighting Engineer and Technical Coordinator in theaters, companies and festivals and with internationally acclaimed designers: Olga García, Felipe Ramos, Bernie Davis, Nicolas Fichtel, among others.
He is a member of the Association of Lighting Designers.
At present, he combines his activity as technical coordinator, lighting designer and teacher of “Lighting and Scenography for Dance” at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila in Madrid, with his work in companies such as Sharon Fridman, Antonio Ruz, Daniel Doña, Manuel Liñán, Estévez y Paños, Rojas y Rodríguez…
He is Technical Director and Lighting Designer for the LASALA Company.
XABIER MUJIKA
Costume designer
Once he finished his architecture degree he worked in SHSH architecture+scenography office in Brussels. After that experience, he decided to submerge himself in learning more about scenic arts, so he started costume and lighting studies.
He became performance costume technician at AEG centre in San Sebastian, in 2014 and 2015 he worked as costume manager at Dantzaz konpainia, as well he has worked with several dance companies, such as Cielo Raso or MugMus laborategia, and currently collaborates with Hika Antzerki taldea and LASALA.
RENATA LASZCZAK
Photographer and video producer
ETANOWSKI
Renata studied photography in Poland and Ivasfot in San Sebastián. She completed her studies with workshops in Arteleku with Hellen van Meene, Bart Hess, William Selden, Eduardo Momeñe, Oscar Molina…
Travelling she collaborated with different ONGs making documentaries with Indian women and Burmese and Saharan refugees.
JAIONE UZARRAGA
Production manager
Jaione studied Technician in Administration and Finance at the Nazaret Zentroa in Donostia-San Sebastián. She has been part of the management team of national companies of different sectors: commercial, independent professional services, catering, as well as organising sporting and cultural events.
Her professional experience includes organisational tasks, logistic management and the area of administration and human resources.
Currently, she is in charge of the management and production of LASALA.
